I have recently noticed, if i hesitate to give my word to something I usually try to talk around it, All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’, but sometimes it’s so hard to just give a yes or a no, we think the person who we are speaking to might get hurt, but in fact not giving a proper yes or a no hurts them even more.
Eluding the situation in fact just provides a temporary solution, while bearing in mind the decisions once taken makes us directly responsible and accountable for the consequence of our action.
As previously quoted, "Sow a thought and you reap an action; sow an act and you reap a habit; sow a habit and you reap a character; sow a character and you reap a destiny." ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
To imagine, each time we try not to give a concrete answer builds on our thought process and stated above can show what it can lead us to. Scary thought.
