Yesterday, I found out compromise can subtly creep into any moment of your life, beginning of the year I made a decision to live a life which is based on discipline, the hard thing is that, when you are not used to a certain way of life, you begin to cave in, that’s when I realized the latter part of my decision, no matter what the consequence, time to make some tough decisions, God help me.

words
I have recently noticed, if i hesitate to give my word to something I usually try to talk around it, All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’, but sometimes it’s so hard to just give a yes or a no, we think the person who we are speaking to might get hurt, but in fact not giving a proper yes or a no hurts them even more.
Eluding the situation in fact just provides a temporary solution, while bearing in mind the decisions once taken makes us directly responsible and accountable for the consequence of our action.
As previously quoted, "Sow a thought and you reap an action; sow an act and you reap a habit; sow a habit and you reap a character; sow a character and you reap a destiny." ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
To imagine, each time we try not to give a concrete answer builds on our thought process and stated above can show what it can lead us to. Scary thought.

Horizon
So the New Year has begun, 2011, being a Saturday, the usual ritual, I went for breakfast to one of my favourite places, ric’s kountry kitchen(26.21529,50.599886), on route and back, noticed it was really dusty, thinking to myself, wow, great way to start the new year, couldn’t see much ahead, and that’s when I realized, WOW, the weather is like the new year, you don’t know what is coming up, you cannot know what it holds, but the comforting thought is that, I know who holds this year, the same person who held my past years and will continue holding my future years.
Thank you Lord! for that comforting thought.

Dawn
It’s been 210 days since my last blog, reason, nothing to write on? Well the exact opposite, so many things took place this year that it’s hard to know from where to begin or end. This year indeed has been amazing and filled with surprises to say the least. Something interesting came to mind, from the end to the beginning, the moment between that kind of like a twilight zone of sorts, so the search began, what is the opposite of twilight, dawn, something have to end for new things to begin, and that was what 2010 was all about, the dawn of many things, on January 03rd, 2010, Job Babu Varghese : keyword for 2010... discipline... something when I look back at makes more sense, I needed to discipline myself not to a particular thing, but rather, just have discipline, March 05th, 2010, saw the end to something I held on to for a long time, friendship restored/altered/broken.
The keyword for 2011 is an addendum to Discipline, Wait! On the Lord, with a discipline heart, to obey no matter the consequences it will result with, to discipline myself in reading of the Word & practicing S.O.A.P, going to the Gym, try to learn a new language, hoping Italian, Spanish or French maybe Malayalam even, ha-ha.
And last but not least, to blog, if not every day, at the least once a week!
Something has to end for something new to begin. Dawn.
